pissed off, funny, warm. good man in a storm.

These are Fiona Apple lyrics I’ve pinched to revive this newsletter. Hyperfixate didn’t really feel like me anymore, and this is an experiment in giving myself room to change. We’ll see how this goes. Fiona Apple and I were born on the same day, and I’d like to think there is some Virgo kinship I can tap into. There will still be pop culture analyses and opinions no one asked for but I’m trying to be a little more intentional with them. Welcome!

who the hell is writing this anyway?

Ariane Anindita Anantaputri (she/they) is a writer, actor, musician and stand-up comedian currently working from the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil- Waututh) Nations, known today as so-called “Vancouver, British Columbia”.
